No Wreath This Year?

Confederate Monument In Arlington National Cemetery
Apparently two guys (whose names I have forgotten) wrote a letter to the current U.S. President Barack Obama wanting him to NOT send a wreath to the Confederate monument at Arlington. It has been done every year since Woodrow Wilson was president. I would like to say that as president he should honor all soldiers from all wars that have died fighting on U.S. Soil. I would Like to say that if the U.S. doesn't want to honor the Confederate soldiers, then the U.S. Government needs to give all of the land C.S. soldiers are buried on back to the former Confederacy. In my mind Not sending a wreath would be Discrimination and Discrimination should NEVER be tolerated. Sending a Wreath Will help the nation and in NO way can it hurt....if you agree with that or not feel free to speak your mind because I won't delete your comment unless it is extremely inappropriate.

Symbol of slavery and inequality

Many people wrongly believe that the union fought to abolish slavery. However the union still allowed slavery in the border states during the War for southern independence. If the Union fought to free slaves then why didn't the Emancipation proclomation free any slaves? Why were slaves (in the NORTH and south not get freed until after the war between the states.Did you Know that THE FLAG OF THE UNITED STATES REPRESENTED A NATION THAT ALLOWED SLAVERY FOR ALMOST 200 YEARS? I believe that the Union flag represents Slavery and Tyranny. What do you think?

...Hard Crackers come again no more...

A common enemy of the Southern Soldier(other than Federals)was hunger.Meager rations and a poor diet led to malnourishment in many of the boys in gray.Did this affect the Confederacy's ability to wage war and to recruit volunteers,if so give an example.

Sic Semper Tyrannis!

When people look to Lincoln they see the man that "Saved the Union",HOWEVER most people do not Know of the illegal things he did to restore the union. There are a lot of misconceptions about "(dis)honest" abe.Did you Know that He suspended the writ of habeas corpus(1-One of a variety of writs that may be issued to bring a party before a court or judge, having as its function the release of the party from unlawful restraint.
2-The right of a citizen to obtain such a writ )? In brief is Lincoln a tyrant or hero?

Without it's zealous Cav. commander J.E.B. Steuart the A.N.V. was blind in the days leading up to the Famous battle of Gettysburg. How did this effect the Confederates Strategy on the First two days of battle?
